October 5 - International Walk "n"Wheel to School Day

In an event to alieviate traffic congestion and promote healthy active living, the Town of BWG’s Active Transportation Committee is working with Chris Hadfield Public School, St. Marie of the Incarnation Catholic School and St. Angela Merici Catholic School to organize their second “Walk ‘n’ Wheel Wednesday” on October 5, encouraging kids to use self-powered methods of getting to school.
Only students arriving to school under their own power (walk, bike, etc.) or using the bus transportation provided will be elidgible to receive a gift at the event tent set up at the school on that day!!
